Clare, who sings and plays guitar, and his rope friends Darrell Angus, on guitar and vocals, Tim Matthews, on drums, and Brian Maxwell, on bass, are bringing their all-original hairy garage stone songs to a Ritual Nightclub during 137 Besserer St. Doors open during 10 p.m. with a $4 cover charge, and Clare hastens to add, $4 beer. Clare’s rope is followed by Montreal’s Shortpants Romance. Â
