NOW PLAYING: The Death of Paris
THE BAND: Zack Starikov, rythm guitar, Ashland; Mark McCarthy, drums, Needham; Mike Marvuglio, bass, Marshfield; John Zaremba, lead guitar, South Boston; and Nathan Harrop, guitar/vocals, Providence, R.I.
WE PLAY: Something a song attention folks are referring to as Hard Pop. It’s dark, thespian stone with a lyrics created about Nathan Harrop’s life stories of a sister’s death, his mother’s drug addiction, his father’s alcoholism, abuse and jail time, his wife’s infidelity and stories many of us couldn’t serve a bravery to share.
OUR SOUND: We’ve been compared to a brew of Rise Against, Thrice, Bayside and My Chemical Romance.
HISTORY: Four members were in an unsigned stone rope that had been furloughed 250 dates a year in North America. They met Nathan Harrop while in New Mexico. Nathan asked them to work as sidemen on his solo record, yet a band’s chemistry and artistic routine valid too profitable to rubbish on a one-off collaboration. The Death of Paris was innate in late 2009 with Nathan creation a pierce behind to a East Coast where he was creatively from.
WE ROCKED: Our initial uncover had 300 kids, opening for a obvious Bowling For Soup. Our subsequent uncover was opening for The Ataris with an assembly of about 200. The crazy partial was all a kids were singing a difference to a songs even yet we haven’t put any recordings out. We after found out that these same kids were during a Bowling For Soup uncover and favourite us so most they videotaped us with their phones and put us adult on YouTube. These same kids watched a videos so mostly that they memorized a difference to a songs. It was utterly a surreal moment.
