Gregg Allman heads out on solo tour

 

A healthy Gregg Allman is set for a solo debate in support of his latest release, Low Country Blues, his initial solo record in 14 years. The manuscript debuted #5 on Billboard;s Top 200, his top draft position.

The initial 6 dates, Apr 19-26, are co-headlining gigs with a Steve Miller Band, followed by a solo trek that includes a brew of song festivals, theatres and clubs in a North America, Europe and a UK.

Before rising his solo tour, Allman, along with a Allman Brothers Band, will be personification a 13-date residency during New York’s Beacon Theatre (March 10-26), afterwards conduct with a rope to Live Oak, Fla. for their annual three-day WANEE Festival, Apr 14-16.

Low Country Blues  was constructed by T Bone Burnett and facilities Dr. John on piano, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, and stroke section: bassist Dennis Crouch and drummer Jay Bellerose.
