Heard from a companion final week that Atlantic City’s Bader Field
would play horde to a multi-day summer festival headlined and
curated by a Dave Matthews Band. Looks like it’s a finished deal.
The Press of Atlantic City
reports that as-yet-unnamed festival will take place on June
24-26. No word nonetheless on additional acts (I’m guessing you’ll see a
few artists from a ATO Records – a tag owned by Matthews -
roster) or sheet sales.
City Solicitor G. Bruce Ward indicated that a festival will
run from using from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm any day. Greater
Atlantic City Chamber member George Lynn indicated that 15-20 other
groups will attend with a grave proclamation approaching soon.
This will be a initial of 4 such DMB events set to take place
over a march of a summer.
We’ll pass along some-more info when it becomes available.
